 About Jeff 

  • Coon Rapids homeowner since 2000.
  • Married to Simone - 10 year anniversary this year!

                     - Simone is a licensed substitute teacher in District 11.

  • Two sons, 2 & 6 years old:

                     - Enrolled in ECFE & Kindergarten.

  • UW-River Falls graduate:
                     - BS-Business Administration 1992.

                     - Master of Science-Education (guidance counseling) 2000.

  • 17 years sales, marketing, and management work experience.

                     - Extensive budgeting and business planning experience.
                     - Expertise in management and negotiations. 
                     - Success working with, and leading, teams.
  • K-12 guidance counseling experience - Spring Lake Park.
                     -  Worked with students toward graduation and post-secondary
                         preparation.
                     - Provide academic support, guidance, and personal support
                        to individual students.
                     - Gained an inside perspective working with fellow counselors,
                        teachers, administrators, and staff members.
                     - Researched and analyzed High School dropout & dropout
                        prevention.  Prepared Master's thesis on this important topic.

  • Recently joined PTO for my son's Elementary School.

                     - Currently participating in Hoover Elementary group to
                        inform voters about the levy.
